Friday Five

1. Can't believe it's almost March!!!

The weather's been really warm and it feels almost like Spring.

Northern Ca and Washington state are getting TONS of rain.  So are the Sierra Madre mountains. It does look like we will get some rain in March.  Our office was flooded two years ago during March rain storms.  Hoping for rain but not tons of it.

2. Reading lots this week!

Here's some of what I've been reading:

My YA Books Central review: http://www.yabookscentral.com/yafiction/19452-summer-days-and-summer-nights

Teaser: This is a great collection of tales that brings back memories of hot days and summer love.

3.

.YA Books Central review:http://www.yabookscentral.com/yafiction/19475-even-if-the-sky-falls

Teaser:  Whirlwind romance in the heart of New Orleans with characters that decide to take a chance on each other with very satisfying results.

4.  Right now reading this anthology:

This is a must read for any fans of Morganville and for those who want to read shorts on some of the characters.  Really enjoying!

YA Books Central review coming soon!

5. Really loved this pop-up book of the White House:

YA Books Central review: http://www.yabookscentral.com/kidsnonfiction/19445-the-white-house-a-pop-up-of-our-nation-s-house

Teaser: A fun addition to any educator's collection. Perfect for the upcoming presidential election and for readers to get a glimpse of not only some key rooms in the White House but learn some history too.

**Will add photo of Damon after I go see him this afternoon.  He's now five weeks old!

**Guilty pleasure:

Meeting with some friends this morning to caught up with stuff.  Then having company over this evening.  Plan to have Round Table pizza which is a little more costly but their deep pan pizza is to die for!

Anthologies seem to be all the rage right now, don't they? Summer days sounds good. I just finished the audiobook of Slasher Girls & Monster Boys. Enjoyed it. But I love creepy.

Enjoy your weekend, Kim.

Ooh, I totally heart SLASHER GIRLS & MONSTER BOYS. One of my favorite Cybil's nominated books of last year!

Enjoy your weekend too!
