Fire in the Woods Blog Tour and Giveaway

I'm excited to be a part of the Fire in the Woods Blog Tour: Here's a little bit about the book: ABOUT FIRE IN THE WOODS: Title: Fire in the Woods Publication date: September 2014 Publisher: Month9Books, LLC. Author: Jennifer M. Eaton When a plane crashes in the woods near Jess’s home, the boy of her dreams falls out of the sky—literally. But David’s not here to find a girlfriend. He’s from another planet, and if Jess can’t help him get back to his ship, he’ll be stuck on Earth with nothing to look forward to but the pointy end of a dissection scalpel. But her father runs their house like an army barracks, and with an alien on the loose, Major Dad isn’t too keen on the idea of Jess going anywhere. Ever. So how the heck is she supposed to help the sweetest, strangest, and cutest guy she’s ever met? Hiding him in her room probably isn’t the best idea. Especially since her Dad is in charge of the squadron searching for David. That doesn’t mean she won’t do it.

Weather's been brutally hot this whole week.  Ugh.  100+ temps.  Then a freak storm blew in: It didn't hit us but blew right over.  Other places in Riverside and the desert weren't so lucky. **I'm afraid it's going to be one of those winters this year. 3. Watched the first episode of FOX's new TV series RED BAND SOCIETY.  One thing really stood out to me: the stereotypical mean cheerleader

1. So drama of last week continues! The rental place that we got our car from?  Well, they just stopped being open on Saturdays but I didn't know this so I dropped car off early on Monday.  Hoping that I don't have to pay for 2 days of a rental car just because of this. **Update.  Farmers insurance called and said they paid for the days!  Whew! 2. And we were affected with the recent Home Depot breach of security as we used our credit card/debit card there for home improvements. Pain as I had to cancel my credit cards and debit card.  Uh, hello, didn't we just do this six months ago because of another breach of security?  Yes, right.  Target. 3. Son woke up Wednesday asking for his inhaler as his chest hurt and was really tight.  I freaked because of this news report: http://www.lohud.com/story/news/health/2014/09/09/midwest-virus-respiratory-illness-kids-new-york/15352067/ The head of Center of Disease Control says this virus--Entrovirus D68 is hitting kids

1. Week started off crappy.  On the way to church, we were rear-ended by someone in our church while pulling into parking lot.  She hit car so hard that the right bumper is damaged along with pushing my muffler in and other damage. Sigh. Mega sigh. At least she has insurance!  I swear in the 20+ years I've lived in Southern Ca, she is the only one who actually had it. Driving a rental car right now while my Rav4 is in the body shop. Needless to say?  I'm driving very carefully and slow. Good news though?  Other than my anxiety going crazy?  No one was hurt.  Shaken?  Yes, but hurt?  No. 2. So I haven't been in the frame of mind to write.  Really trying.  Got two days in.  Pushing through this block.  But admit it's hard. I remember 8th grade.  It was the WORSE for me.  Hope son has an awesome experience.  So far?  He says he's liking his classes a
