Friday Five

1. Well today the plumbers will be here all day replacing the broken pipes. I'll just be glad when it's done so I can then repair the office which needs to be repainted and have the carpet and baseboards replaced. I know, $$$

2. Finished reading PROPHECY GIRL:

Teaser:

I'm a huge fan of paranormal romances and PROPHECY GIRL is that and so much more. First off I totally fell in love with the voice. Amelia Bennett is a demon hunter who would eat Buffy the Vampire Slayer for breakfast. Her voice is hilarious with just enough snark and humor to keep you wanting to follow her anywhere. I know she did with me!

3. My non-fiction read is PARIS IN LOVE:

Love this memoir of a woman and her family that moved to Paris for a year.

4. Right now reading UNBREAKABLE by Elizabeth Norris:

The first book in this series, UNRAVELING was a Cybil's nominated book so I was able to get to read it then. Really enjoying this time travel/alien tale that is similar to ROSWELL the TV show only written much better!

5. Found out that Audrey Hepburn's son Luca Dotti has written a memoir/coffee table book of his mother in Rome:

Talk about great timing! Right now I'm going over proofs of my YA fantasy/romance NO GODDESSES ALLOWED. As you know my main character Jordan Lake is a HUGE Audrey Hepburn fan!

And here's how I'm feeling while going over my proofs so far:

**And yes, I preordered the AH book! Also excerpts will be featured in the May issue of VANITY FAIR.

Here's my vision of what Jordan looks like!

**Guilty pleasure:

I hope to be able to squeeze in a yoga practice!

Before we had our son, I practiced yoga at least 3xs a week at our local YogaWorks studio. I'm a huge believer in the benefits of practicing yoga.

Yeah for finally getting your pipes fixed. Sometimes it's the little things. :)

Ooh, must get the Audrey in Rome book. She is easily my favorite - love to see that your MC Jordan is a fan, too! Happy Friday!

Sarah,

Yes, so glad the pipe problem is finally getting taken care of though it's taken all day so far and probably will continue on another day. At least we'll have better pipes that won't backup again!

Sara,

OMG, I'm so excited about the latest interest in Audrey Hepburn. It seems just like yesterday when some editors told me that teens didn't know who AH was. Now she's everywhere!
You dance quite nicely, Kim. :)

Congratulations on your book. The timing for the Audrey Hepburn book is just right, sounds like.
