Friday Five

1. Today we're going to Disneyland to help celebrate son's 11th birthday. This should be fun! His birthday is this coming Sunday but our Annual Passes will be blocked out then.

The rest of my blog I thought I'd do something different.  If it works, maybe I'll do a vlog a week or so?  Let me know what you think!

And books that I didn't share include:

BORN AT MIDNIGHT

Fellow YA Books Central reviewer sent me book 3 of this series so I had to get the first book.  It's kind of similar to HEX HALL as a teen is shipped off to a reform school and finds out why she never felt 'normal'.

EMOTION THESAURUS

Found out about this one on Twitter.  You can download on your Nook for $4.99.  It looks fab and something I need while doing these edits!

CHANGELING

Loved Philippa Gregory's other books.  Downloaded this one on my Nook and have to admit at the beginning it feels like an adult trying to get 'YA'.  I put it aside for now and I'm crossing fingers it's as good as her other adult books.

ANGEL AND FAITH

Yes, I think I mentioned how I love this series even more than Buffy!

Also here's son from his performance of CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY.  He was Grandpa Joe.  Check out his 'gray' hair!

**Check back on Monday for #wipmadness  I'm thinking maybe to give away a galley or two or more to help motivate you all in your own writing projects!

***Plus, I signed up to be part of Teacher's Write this month with the fab, talented Kate Messner.  I hope to share from there too.

June will rock!

Wow, you got some great books. I'm a little jealous. ;)
How fun to see and hear you. I love your valley girl drawl. Brings back fond memories. And so many beautiful books! *drools*

LOL, Kai! I had a room mate who told me the same thing about my drawl. I'm like, "Wait, I don't have one. You do!" She was from Georgia.

I bet you had a great time at Disneyland! What a great bunch of books. How do you read so much? I can barely keep up with critting my CPs, and my own revising and forum-posting...

I'm crazy, I think that's my secret! I haven't been reading as much as I used to because of my writing and other responsibilities. But I always have a book in my hands. I feel naked without one.
Like the vlog. You have a good vlog voice, ha. ;)

Thanks! I need to work on the eye blinking thing though! Hope to do another one for Monday's post in which I'll share some goodies you can get to help motivate with weekly writing goals.
