1. So husband broke down and wore a mask when he went out to go grocery shopping. Said he saw others doing the same thing.  The thing is there's so much misinfo out there right now and when Dr. Fauci was asked about it? Here's what he said: 'It's under serious consideration': https://www.politico.com/news/2020/03/31/fauci-mask-recommendation-coronavirus-157476 2. So my daily schedule looking like this: 8:30am up/get ready for day 9:30am feed Damon, get breakfast 10:00am watch CNN for updates on Covid-19 virus **Unless it's tRump, then I turn off TV 10-11am heat ankle and do physical therapy exercises 12 lunch 1-3 **Writing time 3pm Italian lessons 4pm Read 5pm Dinner 6pm clean up/heat ankle 6-7pm physical therapy 8-10pm TV I've been going to bed around 11-11:30pm **Then repeat. My goals are to be able to drive again on April 11th and pick up a Coffee Bean & Tea leaf drink: 3. Currently reading BETWEEN BURNING WORLDS wh

1. So the US is now the highest nation in the world with the most deaths of the Covid-19 virus. And then tRump tweeted this: Donald J. Trump     @realDonaldTrump 4h “President Trump is a ratings hit. Since reviving the daily White House briefing Mr. Trump and his coronavirus updates have attracted an average audience of 8.5 million on cable news, roughly the viewership of the season finale of ‘The Bachelor.’ Numbers are continuing to rise... 47k Reply 16k Retweet 69k Like More options Drag to Collection Donald J. 1. Watched CNN interview with Dr. Fauci. He's someone I trust. Also an interview with Bill Gates who went over the pandemic and his views/suggestions. Like I said before I'm only listening to our governor, scientists, and doctors. Here's the status so far on the Covid-19 virus. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/26/world/coronavirus-news.html And tRump goes on Fox news and says it's all overblown. Makes me ill and very afraid. 2. During our Stay at Home order, I've been taking online Italian classes. Also catching up on reading. Just finished reading GIRLS WITH RAZOR HEARTS by Suzanne Young. My YA Books Central review: https://www.yabookscentral.com/yafiction/24915-girls-with-razor-hearts 3. Didn't go shopping today. Did get an email from Walmart saying my order was delayed. Ugh. And I'd do anything for antibacterial wipes. No one has any. 4. Still going to physical therapy and doing my daily stretches. I can walk using my boot to and from

1. There's a lot of stupid out there right now. Including our so-called president-and I use that word loosely-saying that he wants all Americans to be back to work by Easter. Never mind that right now New York is the epicenter of the Covid-19 virus. WHO officials and scientists have warned us that this pandemic will get worse before it gets better. Son went shopping at Target and here's a photo he took of the empty toilet paper shelves: 2. This man says that grandparents are willing to die so that the economy can be better. Uh, I just turned 60, and I'm not willing to do that so some rich CEOs and tRump can get richer. 3. Dr. Fauci is who I'm listening to right now on what to do to protect myself from the Covid-19 virus: 4.  Physical therapy session today was painful, but I'm getting more mobility in my foot. So that is good: 5. And a little humor:

1. Okay, now I get why basic food items like eggs, flour, yeast, milk are off the shelves. We were able to get some eggs and I had butter. So I did some stress cooking and made some homemade Toll House cookies. Son went shopping yesterday and shared how the shelves are empty of bread, eggs, milk, flour, and even, beer. "Mom, there was no beer and absolutely no alcohol." So I'm thinking some people need a drink or two just to deal with the fear of getting Covid-19 and the stress of worrying if they'll get laid off due to the Stay at Home order or watching yet another daily episode of tRump's thinly veiled rallies. Speaking of... 2. I also have decided I won't watch anymore of tRump's conferences. The lies are only adding to the fear right now. Who am I watching? Our California governor's conferences and also the mayor of Los Angeles. These men have stepped up to the plate and are doing what they can to stop this virus. Thank you! 3. Then

1. So husband  tells me this morning he 'thinks' he might have the virus. We tried to figure this out. It's been almost a month since he started coughing. He doesn't have any of the other symptoms. I'd love to get him tested to be sure, but even though the idiot in chief says anybody who wants the test can get it? We all know the truth. 2. I refused to listen to today's conference. I just know tRump will be lying and self-congratulating himself. Just ugh. 3. Teen went shopping and called me, "Mom, there's absolutely nothing on the shelves. There's not even any beer or alcohol." **So we all know how some people are coping with being quarantined right now. Back in 2009, when doctors thought son had the swine flu, we were quarantined for a week. And I thought that was bad. Ugh. This current stay in home order I fear will be longer than 15 days. 4. Thinking I'm going to cook some homemade chocolate chip cookies. 5. Love this In

1. Stay at home life is going on as usual. I've been pushing stretching so I can get in my boot and I can DRIVE/WALK again. You don't know how much you take for advantage just walk until that ability is taken. 2. So teen got a call from fast food place that he wasn't 'needed' at work today. Of course I was nervous this meant more. You never know. Everyday things change. It's a scary world out there right now. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-who/who-message-to-youth-on-virus-you-are-not-invincible-idUSKBN21733O 3. THIS. I have a feeling tRump will come back and try to say he had nothing to do with this pandemic. Maybe he didn't, but he could have helped our nation be better prepared. By disbanding the Pandemic committee in 2018 and then to call it a 'hoax', our nation lost valuable time to be better prepared for the virus. 4. Didn't know that Apple TV has AMAZING STORIE

1. It just continues to get worse. tRump continues to lie to the American people. And when one reporter asks him if he has any reassuring words for us during this time? Not what we need to hear right now. 2. This is what Rachel Maddow says: https://twitter.com/MaddowBlog/status/1241184095302008835 Maddow: If Trump is going to keep lying like he has been every day on stuff this important, we should, all of us, stop broadcasting it. Honestly, it's going to cost lives. I agree. His so-called conferences are basically his political rallies where he craves adoration. 3. Got this from my younger sister in Sacramento: I just heard from my friend in Italy today we spoke through WhatsApp and he said the president there is extending the quarantine longer than April 7 th because the numbers are doubling. GG texted me today that they blocked off her area and the numbers there tripled in a 24 hour period. **And I also got an email from a woman in my church, asking membe

**As of 6:30 pm PST our governor has just issued a 'stay at home' order, meaning nothing essential will be open like gyms. Just take-out, delivery. 1. Today someone informed me that the one France study that Advil hurts anyone who has the Covid-19 virus has been picked up by WHO. They're now recommending using Tylenol. Guess what's out of the stores now? Seriously, people, why are you hoarding? And this morning a reporter said people were lining up at the Glendale Costco at 4 in the morning. 4 in the morning! 2. Was able to send off a query this morning. 3. Decided I won't turn TV on at 9 in the morning. tRump only is reinforcing the fear and panic out there. He's trying to gaslight the American people by saying he 'always' knew it was a pandemic before they called it that. Uh, hate to tell you this, tRump, but we can go back and prove what you really said: So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,

1. Finding out that it's probably not a good idea to turn news on around 9:30 am PST. Today tRump continued rambling on how the economy will bounce back and be better than ever. But besides his usual lies, he now is calling the Covid-19 virus, 'Chinese virus'. So racist, but he doesn't care. His words lead to others harassing those of Asian heritage. So, so wrong. It's like Thumper on Bambi said: 2. My insurance company Cigna has this welcoming program which includes on-line coaching. Today I spoke with my coach on my anxiety and also ankle recovery. Just these 20 minutes helped a little. That is until husband came back home from a 'quick' trip to Target He was able to buy organic milk for $8 a gallon. Absolutely no feminine products out there. **Thank god I ordered more online. 3. Looks like my weekly online critique group is now using Zoom! I'm excited as I'll be doing this in April! Got to continue writing, especially during

1. So more and more places are asking to close restaurants, bars, and social gatherings. At 12pm PST New York governor is asking for his residents to do a shelter in place for three weeks. Already the major in San Francisco is doing this. Fellow author Heidi R. Kling is sharing her experiences during this time, plus offering a free serial. **Update as of 7:00pm PST-California governor new rules include this: All bars, restaurants, and 'non-essential places' are closed. Restaurants can have pick-up/drive through services. Gyms are closed-including my favorite yoga studio-YogaWorks. Joanne's classes are all canceled till April. Rumors are circulating around that LA might do a shelter in place. Ideas that are floating right now in Senate include: giving every adult $1000 and child $500 to help during these coming weeks. Having the National Guard called in to help with numerous things like getting food to the elderly; children on free lunches; and other things. 2. Later

1. Woke up to email from my yoga studio saying they'll be closing the studio until the end of the month. 2. Husband left to go shopping. He said it's totally craziness out there. No milk. No garlic. No ground beef or hamburger. No hot dogs. Hardly any pasta of any kind. But there was veggies and fruits. Yes, he loaded up on those. **Come to find out tRump was speaking. Seems everytime that man opens his mouth, chaos happens. And sure enough the Stock Market crashed. 3. Younger brother posted photo of a Starbucks: Empty Starbucks: And here's the headliner on local newspaper: Also I'm taking a hiatus from FB. Too much misinfo out there. There was an article someone posted on horrific news in Italy that caused my anxiety to spiral quickly. My teen told me how easy it is to create 'fake' news and he said, "Mom, if it's really true? Wouldn't everyone know?" 4. Speaking of teen, he works at Chick Fil A. With new recommendation

So woke up to more bad news from Italy. I have cousins over in Lucca. Been contacting a cousin on Instagram to see how they're doing. Then got photos from brother who went shopping yesterday. This is what they found at local store in Merifee. This whole quarantining has been frustrating for me as I'm still immobile and using crutches and a wheelchair. I'm thinking my next physical therapy session might be canceled this Tuesday. At least I got one session in with homework-which I've been doing. Since I finished revision, hope to get back to another revision for book three in the Goddess series. This one is set in Rome! Also been reading SHOUT by Laurie Halse Anderson which is amazing: Hoping that tRump doesn't speak tomorrow. It looks like whenever he gets on air, people go nuts with hoarding food and other items. And a big shout out to those who work in restaurants, fast food places, grocery stores right now. If you do shop, please don't yel

So we're now officially in a pandemic. Seems COVID-19 is doing something that has never happened while I've been alive. Close down countries like Italy and China. Fear has caused people to run out and hoard such items as toilet paper-seriously, what's with that? There's no hand sanitizer anywhere. Oh, and to add to that our country has an idiot in chief as president. Someone who didn't take this deadly virus seriously. Who three weeks previously called it a hoax. Le sigh. I've been quarantined since I broke my ankle. That's almost 2 and a half months of being immobile and only going out for doctor visits and once to church. But yeah, church is canceled too. To keep sane, I did finish revisions on my latest story with a Latina protagonist and sent it off to my publisher. Hopefully she'll love Espie and her world: **Love sister-in-law Angie, who is photogenic and shows the mood of my protagonist in this photo. Watching season one o
